1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine spices, season with s&p
Season chicken with mixture
Melt butter over medium high heat
Add chicken, skin side down until golden brown, 2-3 min
Remove from heat and stir in buttermilk
Place in oven and roast until completely cooked through (175 F), 25-30 min
Garnish with cilantro
