Sour Cream Onion Chive Chicken

Ingredients

Coating:

2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. butter
3 lb. chicken strips
3 red onions, halved

Sauce:

1 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. pepper
milk 
2 tbsp. parsley

Directions

Heat oven to 350
Combine coating ingredients except butter
Dip chicken in butter & coat with mixture (save crumbs)
Add onions, sprinkle crumbs, remaining butter over top
Bake 60-70 minutes
Remove chicken and scrape dripping into saucepan
Stir in flour, cook over medium heat
Stir in sour cream & pepper
Cook until heated through, add milk for consistency
Serve sauce over chicken & onions
Sprinkle with chives
