Sausage Balls

A Johnson family Christmas tradition going back four generations now. Great little snacks or a whole meal, depending on whether or not you can make yourself stop eating them. The cheddar cheese can be substituted with pepper jack for a little kick.

Ingredients

1 lb. sausage
8 oz. shredded cheese
2 c. Bisquick

Directions

Microwave sausage for a short time until warm but not hot
Mix sausage and cheese with break hook
Add Bisquick and a little milk for consistency
Make small balls, put on baking sheet
Bake @400, 10 minutes
